Storyline
Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is an assistant in Manhattan today judged by the city of his nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina) to defend. Balthazar may not be alone, he hired Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly normal man demonstrates the potential hidden under his hat reluctantly. The magician does his cronies did not want a crash course in art and science of magic, and together these unlikely partners to the forces of darkness to stop. That takes courage Dave can muster all his training to save the city and get the girls, a witch in the school to survive.
Review
I was upset with some aspects of the film, as my extreme anger with Jay Baruchel. But I think the film was Nic Cage. He is a very talented actor and it shows in every film, whether good or bad.
This is wizard named Balthazar, who lives in New York City today. He has done for many centuries for the perfect guy who came to know that his apprentice. Then there is the boy and trains him was that the world might be saved.
The acting is quite good. Nicolas Cage is obviously more than good. I was also impressed by Alfred Molina. Jay Baruchel is annoying here. I wanted to slap him.
People compare the movie for some reason, Harry Potter. I will say now is not Harry Potter. This film is a masterpiece like the Harry Potter series, but still good.
In general, this is a very good family film. I would turn a deaf ear to criticism back and see that.
