Storyline

After finally catching serial killer and occult "sorcerer" Lord Blackwood, legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson can close yet another successful case. But when Blackwood mysteriously returns from the grave and resumes his killing spree, Holmes must take up the hunt once again. Contending with his partner's new fiancée and the dimwitted head of Scotland Yard, the dauntless detective must unravel the clues that will lead him into a twisted web of murder, deceit, and black magic - and the deadly embrace of temptress Irene Adler.

Opening times at Christmas, showed himself worthy of Sherlock Holmes to be a blockbuster hit. To be honest, I came up with the expectation that the movie would be terrible. But I was wrong.

Review

Sherlock Holmes seems to be the new James Bond: gritty, hardcore, and always ready for a fight. He is not only intellectually, but also a very sophisticated combat aircraft. Watson to take his side, his faithful friend is always there to rescue his beloved partner of necessity. Irene plays the notorious thief, and lover of Mr. Holmes. She is a clever character allows the reader to guess their motives.

The cinematography of the film was something special, because the parts of the film as a logical future Holmes' deduction. The film also shows traditional method of explaining the deduction of Sherlock Holmes, given the facts and evidence.

Evil Nemesis Sherlock Holmes plays his role well. There were many humorous antics and displays of ingenious traps. The other minor characters also added to the crude humor and laughter.

Altogether this film deserves to be looked at. It comes with a sparkle of spontaneity and fun. And it may even make you yearn for a sequel! Try it out!
